The August release will become available in the acceptance environment on Monday the 3th of August and will be promoted to the production environment on Monday the 17th of August. Refer to the release notes in Hello! Nétive for more information.
During this period we have worked on making the assignment process more flexible. Where previously the workflow ended when an assignment became final, it will soon be possible to record follow-up statuses.
For example:
It has also been made possible to define multiple assignment processes for a customer. Including associated approval flows for assignments, assignment change requests and timesheets. This is particularly relevant if you want these processes to run differently for different roles or organizational units.
From several conversations with our customers it became apparent that our users need more insight into the status of the execution of an assignment. Has the assignment already been completed or not? Does the assignment need to be extended? Can I let the supplier know that the assignment has ended? By using the new statuses, these questions will soon be easy to answer.
In the August release we will deliver the functionality. From that moment on, the workflow configurations can be adjusted, if a customer wishes of course. Our colleagues from Customer Success Management are ready to help customers with this.

As of January 1, 2021, IE11 is no longer supported for the use of Nétive VMS. From that moment on, IE11 will no longer be tested for correct operation and problems in using IE11 will no longer be solved. We advise you to switch to a newer, more modern and safer browser such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Safari well in advance.
The main reason to stop support is the modernization of Nétive VMS. In order to offer optimal ease of use and a good performance we use modern internet technologies. Technologies that also offer more advanced security features, for example for detecting and limiting certain types of cyber attacks. IE11 (or older) does not support these technologies.
We are currently developing many new features and improvements with these new technologies. Unfortunately, as long as you use IE11, you will not be able to use them. Until the end of the year, we will make sure that the existing screens continue to work in IE11. So you can continue to use Nétive VMS like you are used to from us. From January 1st 2021 we will phase out these screens.
We will follow the development of these screens, which has also been deployed by our technology partner Salesforce. As of January 1, 2021, Salesforce will stop supporting IE11. Microsoft itself also advises users to stop using IE11 and switch to a more modern browser (see here).
If you anticipate any problems in switching to an alternative browser in time, we urge you to contact us.
