Improvements have been made around the registration of pay rates, so that equal pay between contingent workers and permanent employees becomes more transparent. It is now possible to make the pay rate field in an assignment mandatory. Also, the pay rate is now displayed per rate type in the rate table after entering a base pay rate on the assignment. The pay rate is calculated based on the pay percentage of the rate type.
It is also possible to not use the pay percentages on each rate type and to apply your pay rates manually when creating your assignment. This allows further transparency of rates which can be shown to users, or not, at your discretion. It also drives operational compliance where the VMS is being used to feed a payroll system.
All pay rates can of course, be reported on individually via our reporting suite.
