The preferred candidate process can be used for candidates who may be hired, but have not been recruited through the requisition and candidate proposal process within the VMS. They might, for example, be sourced through your network or a CV database. The transition of this process to the assignment creation process has been streamlined in this release. New fields have been added to the form such as contract type, type of worker, responsible manager and timesheet approver among others. It is now also possible to set the rate unit type, so that not only hourly rates, but also daily rates can be recorded.
